Advanced Diving Techniques (Min. grade: Sports Diver + 20 logged dives)
The aim is to teach divers the correct procedures of advanced techniques and stresses the importance of carrying them out properly. This will give them practical experience in planning and participating in a complex day's diving which puts such techniques to use.

Search & Recovery (Min. grade: Sports Diver or equivalent)
This course will instruct divers in the correct techniques and procedures involved in Search and Recovery projects. It will provide practical experience of underwater search and survey methods as well as teaching the use of buoyancy for lifting.

Dive Planning & Marshalling (Min. grade: Dive Leader or equivalent)
This course encourages the Dive Leader to get involved in the researching, organising and planning of dives. It also covers management techniques as well as accurate recording of information that could prove invaluable to others.

Equipment Care (Min. grade: open)
This course is to acquaint members with design features of modern diving equipment. It covers how to find fault and how to rectify, service and maintain. It also gives advice on what to leave to the specialists and where to find them.

Compressor Operation & Management (Min. grade: Sports Diver or equivalent)
This course is to instruct the safe and correct procedures for the operation and management of a high pressure air compressor for filling air cylinders.

Drysuit Diver (Min. grade: open)
To teach students the correct and safe techniques for drysuit diving. Students will be taught about the different types of drysuit, undersuit and associated valves and how to care for and maintain such equipment. At the end of the course students will be fully competent in the use of a drysuit, not just for everyday diving but in emergency situations as well.
