Aquatech Diving Centre, Manchester's premier Scuba diving school, was established in 1993 and the attached dive club was established in 1992 and both have grown from strength to strength in that time.

The Scuba school offers Internationally recognized qualifications, we are a PADI Five Star IDC Centre and recognise all scuba diving agencies qualifications including PADI, BSAC, SSI and Naui and others, a diver is a diver, no politics here. We run first aid courses through the EFR company.

If you are a beginner you can start to learn to dive by doing a try dive in the safe confines of our pool or you can go straight onto a beginners course, this is called the PADI Open Water course. Please follow this link for beginners courses. We run courses at weekends and evenings and can be flexible for large groups. Once you have completed your training we have an attached club which is very active all the year round with at least one major trip each month and dives available most days.

We can finish off part completed training from another PADI school, the completion upgrade from Open Water referral for example if you have started with another school or complete the Master Scuba diver qualification or if you have done the e-learning online we can do the confined water and/or Open Water aspects of the dives with you.

We have been running AIDA freediving courses for some time now, please follow this link to see more information all of our staff members teaching these courses have been UK squad members in International competitions and include record holders and even a world champion!. We are the experts in Apnea.

We can take an unqualified diver all the way through to instructor level and organise the courses to start your professional career and become a PADI Instructor. Many of our Instructors go on to teach for us or become successful teaching abroad. As part of the instructor development program we run we also teach the Emergency First Response Insructor course so that you can run your own First Aid courses.
